Michael Jordan Buys Another Mansion In North Carolina

February 28, 2013 by Billionaire Addresses

Michael Jordan just added to his mansion collection, this one in North Carolina. The reason for the location may be that he spent most of his childhood in North Carolina, played for the North Carolina Tar Heels and is now the majority owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. The home that had been foreclosed, was a great deal for him at $2.8 Million, down from the original price of $4 Million. The home had once been lived in by Drag Racer Doug Herbert, until 2 of his children were killed in an accident down the road from the mansion.
The home is on North Carolina’s Lake Norman and was built in 1993. It is 12, 312 Sq Ft, has 6 bedrooms, and 8 bathrooms.
This is just one of several homes owned by Jordan. His most well known home is a custom built mansion in the Chicago suburbs which is for sale at $29.9 Million.
He also has homes in Jupiter, Fl, Salt Lake City, and a Charlotte, NC Condo.
